Welcome to Sydney Pet Sitting & Doggy Daycare - where your dog’s comfort, safety, and emotional wellbeing always come first. Since 2017, we’ve provided trusted, personalised care for dogs across Sydney’s South West, earning hundreds of 5-star reviews from families who rely on us year after year.
As a small, family-run business, we offer a warm, home-style environment — not a large commercial facility. Every dog becomes part of our extended family, and every stay is treated with genuine love, attention, and care.
We’re proud to be Fear Free® Certified, meaning we use science-based, low-stress handling and enrichment techniques to reduce fear, anxiety, and stress in every dog we look after. Your dog’s emotional wellbeing is just as important as their physical safety — and our goal is to help them feel calm, confident, and truly relaxed when they’re with us.

Many dogs experience fear, anxiety, or stress when they’re away from home — especially in busy daycare or boarding environments. Our Fear Free® Certification means we’re trained to recognise early stress signals, prevent overwhelm, and support your dog’s emotional wellbeing at every stage of their stay.
Fear Free® focuses on creating positive emotional experiences, not just managing behaviour. This means your dog isn’t simply kept safe — they are kept comfortable, calm, and confident.
We use:
Low-stress handling techniques - gentle, cooperative care that allows your dog to feel in control and never forced.
Slow & thoughtful introductions - perfect for new dogs, shy dogs, anxious dogs, or those needing extra reassurance.
Calm, predictable daily routines - consistency builds trust. We keep transitions smooth and avoid overstimulating environments.
Positive reinforcement - we reward wanted behaviours, making daycare and boarding a source of joy, not pressure.
Sensory enrichment - dogs thrive when all their senses are engaged in safe, soothing ways.
The result? A calmer dog. A happier dog. A dog who looks forward to coming back.
Because Fear Free® care isn’t just about what we do - it’s about how your dog feels while they're with us.
To ensure a safe, calm, and Fear Free®-aligned environment for every dog, we require an evaluation before your dog can participate in daycare or an overnight stay. At our service, the evaluation is simply your dog’s first daycare session or first overnight booking — nothing extra required.
We do not offer meet-and-greets inside our home, and owners do not enter our home or backyard. This helps keep the environment stable, low-stimulus, and stress-free for the dogs currently in our care.
During your dog’s first stay, we gently assess:
Comfort level in a new environment - we allow your dog to explore at their own pace and settle before meeting other dogs.
Body language & emotional wellbeing - we look for relaxed postures, confidence indicators, and any signs of fear, anxiety, or stress.
Social compatibility - we monitor how your dog interacts with others — whether they enjoy play, prefer quiet time, or need slower introductions.
Response to our routine - we observe how your dog handles rest times, enrichment, toileting patterns, feeding, and play.
Play style & energy level - this helps us match them with suitable playmates and decide how much stimulation they enjoy.
Individual needs - we take note of any sensitivities, triggers, or comfort strategies that help your dog settle.
We will update you on how your dog went and discuss:
Whether they are a good fit for group daycare or overnight stays
Any adjustments that may support their comfort
Recommended visit lengths or frequency tailored to your dog
Whether solo or small-group play is best
Any special handling or enrichment they may benefit from
Our goal is always the same: to ensure your dog feels genuinely safe, happy, and emotionally supported while in our care.
For the safety of all dogs in our care, we require a current:
DHPP vaccine
Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
all dogs to be on flea prevention treatment
By using our services, you confirm that your dog is healthy, vaccinated and free of contagious illnesses.
